METAL ETCHED CUFF BRACELET WORKSHOP

Metal etching is a great introduction to metals and can be done with a minimal amount of tools. Using a non-toxic salt water etching method, etch your own custom design on brass that we will form into a cuff bracelet. Designs can be hand drawn, rubber stamped or cut from contact paper - whatever sparks your creative vision! All materials included.

LOS WAX CAST RING WORKSHOP

Lost wax casting is an art process that has been used for over 5000 years to create metal sculpture and jewelry.

In this workshop you'll learn basic wax carving techniques using various jeweler's tools and waxes to design and produce your own unique carved ring by the end of our session. Your ring will then be cast in bronze or sterling silver finished and shipped to you following the workshop. 

This workshop is hosted in the Dutch Hollow General jewelry studio where you will be shown the tools of the trade. Make a beautiful ring that is uniquely your own

(or a gift for a loved one) with no prior jewelry-making experience.

with Dutch Hollow General x California Native Jewelry

Join Emily J Burton of Dutch Hollow General and Jenice Anderson of California Native Jewelry in creating a pair of etched brass earrings. Metal etching is a great introduction to metals and can be done with a minimal amount of tools. Using a non-toxic salt water etching method, etch your own design on brass. Learn basic silversmithing techniques to cut your etched brass into custom shapes and finish as pair of earrings. Designs can be hand drawn, rubber stamped or cut from contact paper - whatever sparks your creative vision!
